Maintain a list of food that you find difficult to digest and may aggravate the symptoms of GERD. when you eat remember those drinks and food that may trigger heartburn in you and avoid them.

Tips to sleep well-

Heartburn may happen even when you least expect it that is during sleep, if conscious efforts are not taken to follow these tips to avoid the flowing back off the acid from stomach to the esophagus;

Place a foam wedge under your torso or increase the height of the head of the bed by 6 inches will help to maintain the gravity towards the stomach thus prevent the flow of acid backwards to the esophagus.
